Club Clothes

Brace yourself because this post goes out to all the cats who buy an outfit for that night to wear to the club and wear it throughout the week until the next club session. I know who you are (don't fux with me). Working retail can be a trip sometimes especially dealing with the every-day customer that smells like booty and weed. I ask myself every time I work on the weekend "Why are you buying expensive ass clothes when your armpits smell like a whole order of pork fried rice with extra egg and sprouts??!!" Come on fam...I know you can smell yourself...and let's not mention the weed in your pocket. I think cats like to carry around weed to make themselves seem like a threat (i don't get it), but majority of the cats who come through reek of cannabis. I would think they would at least bathe but they have to have the latest fusions before anything! (Yes...Jordan fusions...because Retros do not sale anymore, but I will save the Jordan sneaker talk for another post because this is strictly for my poor D boys). I'm not dissing anyone at all because they are dissing themselves smelling like that. At times i see these cats in the mall...not buying anything...just scalping for chicks. Not a good look but I heard you can find a winner at the mall (lowkey hood chick). You can always tell club clothes from regular clothes. Here is an example:

Trina was recently spotted at the BET Hip Hop Awards (which airs October 27th). I actually loved her outfit when I first spotted her. Dope blouse...nice jewelery...my type of skirt. WTF!!! She looks like an amputee!...like she was in a horrible accident and there was no saving her feet. So they cut them mugs off and put these brace boots on her. I can dig boots with this outfit but not the kind that the hospital provides for you...

Vent Session

The news has been CRAAAZY lately! I am already not fond of the news anyway because I gain NO positive insight from it. But if you are a web browser, you can't help but get a glimpse of the heavy material that the news publishes constantly. With that said, I am sure that most of you have heard of the incident that recently occurred in Chicago with a 16-year-old student named Derrion Albert. He was beaten by gangs around his school which lead to his death. POINTLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was there any type of positive consequence from killing this innocent kid? NOPE!! In my opinion, gangs have never had a reason to exist. It portrays individuals who are scared to fight their own battles (if a fight is even necessary). I have no remorse for individuals that were purposely involved in this. Not even in this fight...but in other ones. Time to get a new outlook buddy. The one you got is garbage.

But on another note, I am SURE You heard about the bus fight at Belleville West high school that actually made national news because SUPPOSEDLY this fight was the result of a hate crime (doubt that). This fight was truly a shame, but there are way worst events going on around the country (such as the Derrion Albert incident) and for this to make the news is crazy. There were CRAZY fights when I was in high school but none of them hit the press like this. I just think it's time for everyone to get their priorities together. Hopefully, my little opinion matters...especially to all you "gang-bangers" that read MadeMonarchs.com . (hehe)

Apparently Serena Williams macho a$$ got disqualified from the US Open for SUPPOSEDLY threatening to kill the referee after a bad call. You can see in the video that Serena let her beastly appearance take over her mouth and she started whoopin' a$$ with her words. But I truly don't think that she said she would kill her. This ref looks far from important to say such nonsense. You save those words in times of domestic violence.

But what's worse....how do you think the opponent feels??...She was basically sent to the finals by default. Not necessarily earned. Ehhh...I doubt she's trippin'. She's gettin' PAID!!!

So I was sitting around chilling, when I started thinking about things that used to "fashionable" and kool back in the "day" (more like 4-5 years ago) lol. One thing that came to mind was Name Belt Buckles....remember these lol

So after looking those pics and laughing at that the memories of people rocking'em with other items such as dog tag chains and all white air force ones it got me thinking....Skip what were some funny things you used rock back in the early years of high school??
