I definitely look up to this guy now and he is close to half my age. I usually don't care much about celebrity children and their ability to buy whatever they see in a magazine.

Diggy is different. He not only can afford the clothes, but he understands and appreciates high fashion. With that said, I have followed him from his start till now. He has become accepted amongst the fashion elite and has gained spots on the front row of many shows

He is currently working on his Fall 2010 collection under the tutelage of Pharrell Williams. I look forward to seeing it because that will be his launch to the top. He has a vast knowledge of fashion at the age of 14. By the age of 20, his brand will be formidable and his name will probably be legendary.

It's sad that his older brother is so hood, and on a definitely lower level of fashion. And being hood is no excuse. He can afford the best shoes and hoodies, but I'm sure @mademonarch_O's Jordan collection is $hitting on his! It's such a shame when your little brother is doing your ass in.

I attribute his start to his Uncle Russell Simmons. The first show I seen Diggy attend was with his Uncle. Thanks for exposing this future fashion icon to the industry. He is on his way!!

I dont really read or watch regular world news anymore (unless it's a trending topic). All That now comes second to fashion news. Because of my ongoing attention it is rather easy for me to spot what some one is wearing from a SS2010 collection.

You have to talk the talk and learn the walk to make it to the top. I tried to bring attention to the fact that these two gentlemen were in Paris during the Grammys. I don't highlight many music/fashion types often but this deserves my comment.

As you may already know Anna Wintour is the wind that blows fashion in on direction or another with her seat as Head of Vogue U.S. She has always showed a fondness to celebrities, so this picture is not unheard of, but Most of her celebrity photos are posed and smiling. This photo speaks of action and communication! They have reached their heights of music, the Grammys are not more important to the than being on the row at the Dior men's show.

Pharrell and Kanye have studied and collaborated under the tutelage of Marc Jacobs of Louis Vuitton. I'm excited they have not approached this industry with their flashing lights and red carpets but with their pencils, pad, and erasers. They are learning this world just like all other fashion students and I believe they are going to be some of the first African American males accepted and revered in the elite and tenured fashion world.

Like the rest of this "street" "sneaker" "urban" fashion, it is all being drawn out of the plastics and nylons into precious fabrics and adornments, with brands like Brooklyn Circus, 3Sixteen, Y-3. . etc. Some people who follow the wave so closely don't really see the ocean.

It's definitely time for high fashion to take it's place in the hearts and minds of these young people, they say they disdain Jordan, and I'm starting to count how often they wear T-shirts.

The High side is creeping over, and welcoming with open arms, it's only a matter of time. . .

For some reason I imagine myself in a fantasy world where I am covered with Tattoos but still live in the same "NigelRenaud" persona. I notice that these guys are filling almost every inch of their skin. How Do you guys feel about the full body of art?

I'm not sure when, and I'm not sure what, But I will be "Tatted like the Subway in Harlem" even if its only in my dreams. I think I will start with a bow-tie on the right above my sternum (the sternum is just about where Soulja Boy has the $ right in his neck)

Back to my $hit

I started back working for ALDO. I've had to work every day this weekend. I haven't been on the "mall job" thing in a long time. It is very tiring and I'm starting to think it affects my self-esteem.

I stand and smile for my low pay while people who look great come in and spend $$$s on new boots cuz their old ones lost their shine.

I was much happier working jobs that use my skills, inturn it gives me the complete feelings of power and control. When my manager was talking about how we all need to reach our SPH and make sure we are doing our best at every little thing I laughed inside. He said He is gunning for a District Manager Spot which means the ladder will shift up. and "We need to see dedication to choose who will move into a new manager's spot".

I think with directing fashion departments, Planning events, and designing clothes. I'm off of this ladder shit. I'm building a ladder.

But in the mean time. I'm gonna smile and sell shoes like its my goal in life. And use my discount to buy new leather laptop bags.

I'm back in STL

You may not have known but I was out of town most of last week, so I was absent at most of the events you seen the MadeMonarchs at. I was away on a conference for my job (school job). I visited Arlington, Texas.

It was at 10 hour drive to Texas, and one of the worst experiences in my life. One thing I hate more than anything is riding in cars for long periods of time. Especially in the middle of no where.

The conference was mainly classes, seminars, and artist showcases. I won't be going to that conference again.

BUT the food in Arlington is that deal!

I guess there was another highlight besides the food, I was walking down the hall at our lame as hotel and bumped into RUBY, the star of the style network.

To her current weight of just under 350. That's like Dropping off four Mr. Nesbitts
If you don't know who she is thats, cool ask your mom she might think its interesting.

Besides that, I'm either riding Mega Bus or Flying any where I need to go.

I'm happy to be back in my city.

PSA for hoes in the fast lane

I am soooo over traffic! I have the hardest time getting to school in the morning because the St. Louis area decides to do the bulk of their construction at high points in traffic. Today I felt like exploding in a large-sized flame on the highway. Hopefully my life would be revived and I would get a new car. But ANYwhoo...that's besides the point. Besides the excessive brake lights and snail-like speeds, impatient drivers in bad weather conditions is what REALLY grinds my gears! If you ride my bumper...and I have no way of speeding up due to a car literally 2 inches in front of me...where do you think that will get you??...NO WHERE!! So not only did you just make yourself upset for no reason but you made me even MORE irritated than I already was and now you have given me a reason to put a hit out on you....but I digress. I am not a violent person.

However, while sitting in traffic...of course I have nothing to do but think. I came up with the idea of putting a LED screen in the back of my car for wreckless drivers behind me to read. The closer you are to my bumper...the easier it is for you to read and that means this message was obviously directed at you. Here are some of the things that my LED screen would read:

• Good morning hoes!!

• I can extract rifles out the back of my tires....don't make me use them

• Where ya headed???...NO WHERE!

• Care to get in an accident today?

• Care to lose the case?

• I can extract midgets with armed weapons out the back of my trunk...don't make me use them.

• Please stop....don't make me "get buck"

• *insert middle finger here*

• I hate my car anyway. And I would love your money. Can't wait for you to hit it *smile*
