I remember back in the early years of high school (like im really that old...lol) looking at sites like Eastcoastryders.com thinking , "man i can't wait till get my money, my whip gone be tighttttttttt!" lol... And I remember funny convos with my homies that was full of noises/phrases like "deeeeee" "awww snap(me)" "thats crucial".... lol. Random I know, but when I saw these images I instanlty got a feeling of high school nostalgia... lol good times good times

Nike V-65

Nike has released a new edition to the market of varsity jackets out there. The jacket is a combination of a M-65 shell with the silhouette of a varsity jacket, hence the name v-65. I personally am digging the jacket a lot the combination of the two elements is pulled off nicely and the colors chosen for the first release are ILL. Now prepare your pockets though if you plan on copping this joint because its gonna set you back $560, but the only available place to be right now is Honeyee (Japanese Only) so if you have a connect or someone that knows Japanese hit them up. As we get deeper into October, which is our MM anniversary btw, you'll see us from time to time recapping some of the moments that made the site what it is...like the one below.


Basically we were all downtown to get some media work done for SYGU and basically chill out and we got hungry. So me and Octavius went and got some IMO'S while Twiggy got some Caleco's. While she was getting that we posted up on the curb and SMASHED that IMO'S. Lol, its moments like these that aren't always the biggest in life but you enjoy the most sometimes. Freebording

While scrolling through another one of my favorite sites , LimitedHype, i came across this video on FreeBording. Freebording is essentially a combination of skateboarding and snowboarding, made possible by a patented truck design from the guys at http://www.freebord.com/main.html . The video concept is obviously taken from the classic Tetris game, still dope none the less.

So I was sitting around chilling, when I started thinking about things that used to "fashionable" and kool back in the "day" (more like 4-5 years ago) lol. One thing that came to mind was Name Belt Buckles....remember these lol

If you remember those then you gotta remember these as well, this was the UPGRADE! lol.


So after looking those pics and laughing at that the memories of people rocking'em with other items such as dog tag chains and all white air force ones it got me thinking....Skip what were some funny things you used rock back in the early years of high school?? Well if you look below you'll get a peek at me in my gangster days, let the laughing ensue....lol.


Oh and to add to an already pretty bad pic, here is the "gangsta" version I made of it back in high school on GIMP! All my designers that used gimp before you could afford photoshop where you at.....??? LOL nvm...enjoy

Okay so I think have an obsession with guitars, idk they're just dope. I mean I'm a fan off all guitar forms whether it be acoustic or electric. And if you want to know something funny I think it started with the movie Desperado. You know the one with Antonio Banderas in it where he has the guns that pop up from out of his sleeves.(pictured below)


Well the vid below shows the clip that started it all for me. I could not understand a word he said but i knew i wanted to play like him and have that kind of hair....LOL! (this was 1995 okay...lol)



After that two main styles pretty much took my attention: Spanish(acoustic) guitar, Slap Bass. Slap bass is style where you play with your thumbs finger instead of with a pick. Well actually both dont use picks traditionally lol.

This vid probably displays best where I want to be on the acoustic....



And this Bass playing genius is Victor Wooten, if you dont know check him out, but if i ever get this good.....well.....lol

I saw this on MediaTakeout. This boy sings Mariah Carey's song "Obsessed"...ok so he has no legs and he seems a little feminine. All of that mixed together equals FUN-NAY!!!! What made it funnier was that Mr. Nesbitt was over here buggin' at the fact that this ninja is doing EVERYTHING on his two hands including holding himself up with one arm....ALMOST buggin' out as much as Octavious was when we went to see "The Orphan".
