My nephews (age 5 and 10) were visiting the other day. Their mother told them to start on their Christmas lists. They happily obliged. After NO thought and serious consideration, they easily came up with the list. Game systems! Games for the game systems! And a different game system!....What?! No action figures? No Football? No cool lazer guns? No racecar track and mini cars?....Whatever happened to variety in Christmas time? Parents (aka Santa Claus...f*ck that) don't even have to try hard anymore. No more kids waking up at the crack of dawn to see a festive living room with a VARIETY of toys lying everywhere!...I mean..they still wake up at the crack of dawn, but the living room looks the same besides the Christmas tree and one lonely present under it. *Sigh*. If i could relive the days.....*dream cloud!*: GigaPets galore, Barbie house, Barbie Cars, Kitchen Set, remote controlled cars, Easy Bake Oven, Pokemon cards. *dream cloud bursts and reality hits* I'm back to the age of 21 where my Christmas consists of cashflow, draws, and Christmas cards...*shaking my head* P.S.A:: JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!!
